The James W. Collins Scholarship

Scholarship Requirements:

• Applicant must attend St. Clair County Community College
• Applicant must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the fall and following winter semester
• Two (2) scholarships in the amount of $2,500 shall be awarded annually
• Scholarships are non-renewable
• Scholarship must be used for tuition, fees, and books
• Applicant must demonstrate financial need
• Applicant must have a 3.0 minimum GPA
• Applicant must be enrolled in English/Writing course(s)
• Preference given to students pursuing a career in Journalism
